This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in . I requested a non smoking room since I have asthma and 2 young children and when I got their they gave me a stinky smoking room. I had to miss my son football playoff game and go to the hospital for breathing treatment. I told the front desk when I was checking in that I couldn't stay in a smoking room and he didn't care. He was very rude. They electric plug didnt even work. I was up all night itching and couldn't breath
i like that tha red roof inn was clean and quiet !
tha few things i didnt like was that thay would take forever to give me a room ! and tha staff r kinda rood! other then that tha stay was ok
It was central to our shopping excursions and the price was great!
Pets allowed at no extra cost, which was our only reason for choosing this motel. Nice and quiet. Very friendly young man at desk.
Rancid smoke smell on the bottom floor to get to the upper, non- smoking rooms.
Near shopping. Near freeway.
70's or 80's decor. Not up to date. They painted over all walls and brick old paint or anything that was standing still. Rug was filthy. Needed to vacume, Old TV, old microwave, old beds.
My room was always kept in excellent condition.
Their spa was broken.
Comfy bed and great location just off freeway. Handicapped room accessible and roomy enough--much appreciated!
Broken jacuzzi that had been working the evening before at 10 pm. Tv in the breakfast room so loud that it sounded like a loudspeaker announcement in my room (door closed and locked at 7 am). Pathetic continental breakfast was some bread to toast and a few remaining pineapple danishes and two kinds of instant oatmeal (no microwave in the breakfast room, but in guest rooms and lobby), no orange juice, but Sunny Delight in a jug. The coffee carafe holding hot water for tea held warm water at best.
Because of the price range I believe the caliber of visiter tends to slip. It seemed the whole floor didn't have any entension to sleep for it was noisy all night. I ended up sleeping in my truck.
Convenience of location off of the freeway. Easy to access restaurants around the area. Easy to find. Price was good and was allowed to book only one night's stay, instead of the required two of other hotels in the same area.
For the price, the continental breakfast was sufficient, though not outstanding.
Location, price and security access. Front desk staff were very nice. My thoughts are that this could be a very nice hotel if a few changes were made.
Couldn't see name of hotel from the street, and for a few moments thought that it was out of business. The limitted amount of guests made me think that something was wrong i.e. "why isn't anyone staying at this hotel on friday night; do they know something that I don't?". There was a strong oder of bleach in the stairway, made me think that perhaps someone vomited and they didn't have anything else to clean it up with. The shower in my bathroom had a half-dollar hole in it.
Staff was very friendly.
Was advertised as having wireless internet and this was one of the main reasons for choosing this place. I had work to do on my computer. I could connect to theis service only momentarily and then it would cut off. After multiple calls to the front desk, multiple attempts to get on line, waiting for the staff to reset the server, etc. I gave up. It was very annoying and absolutely ruined my intentions to get things accomplished.
The Red Roof Inn in Palmdale's room was clean and the grounds maintained. The atmosphere was welcoming. I would compare this hotel to a better class Motel 6. It had a refrigerator, hair dryer, and alarm clock (which Motel 6 does not have). I had my dog and I was not worried about walking him at night on the hotel grounds.
The room smelled musty and moldy ,tv was fuzzy .
That there was a microwave and fridge.
That it was in a semi-bad area.
The price and location was great. My family will be booking here again.
The bathtub non slip surface mat had discoloration w/a little mold. The toilet also has urine stains around the bottom side.
